GOODBYE AUSMAT~Gala Night

I’m back again in ipoh, I attended my graduation ceremony as well as Gala Night in college. So fast it’s been a year already and now I have finished my AUSMAT. Hopefully, next year I’m going to fly to aussie.

I really enjoyed my college life . Surrounded by awesome friends doing crazy stuffs. Ya! all those moments are memorable. Not forgetting my lecturers too!! They did their best to teach us and they were a fun lot to play around with too.

Road not taken.

Have you ever wondered whether the road you are taking now IS the road? Or have you ever wondered what will happen if you take other roads instead of the road you are currently in? Well if that’s the case, then you have come to the right place.

No doubt, most of us will give this issue a hard thought at least once in our lives regardless in the past, present on in the future. Let’s take a look at “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost below:

"The Road Not Taken":

"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

"And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

"I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."

Most of us has and had heard of this poem before and this poem has been used in many schools as one of the literary texts for students to ponder upon. We have been exposed to this issue since young and yet there are many of us who choose the wrong road (gangsters, drug addicts… you get the idea). But this issue is very abstract. I mean what if the road they are taking such as the examples above IS the road????

As we move on in life we will then realize that there is no right or wrong roads. ( I don’t know what I’m babbling haha) once you have taken that path, there is no turning back. If there is, it will be a hard long U-turn. I’m not saying it’s impossible but it’s hard.

Hmmm I can’t seem to make a point, but whatever, I’m just trying to post something up :P

finished my AUSMAT!

Finally my course has just ended! Phew! It’s been so long that I have updated my blog. If you check back on my last posts, you will notice that I started with “it’s been ages since I updated” or “ sorry for the long updates” or something similar to that.

Well, from now onwards, I will try to keep my blog updated daily if possible. Because I’m quite free now. Hmmm, let’s see. What have I been doing for the last few months? Well nothing much really. I haven’t touched my guitar for a very long time too!!! Oh, how I miss playing my guitar and sing along, I have lent it to my friends who just starting to learn guitar and I’m happy for them because there are more people that join the ‘guitar world’ if you know what I mean.

Oh, beside that, I have a serious interest in photoshop now. I’m starting to devote my time in learning more skills and tricks in using photoshop. Internet is my best friend. There are some websites that I found useful : www.psdtuts.com . feel free to check that website out if you are interested ya!!!! But I also relied on Google as well as Youtube for tutorials. Now I;m learning how to make glowing effects or for some they call it beams.

Below is one of my creation and I hope I could get some comments about it. Somehow I feel that this image lacks of something. Perhaps the intensity of the glowing effect??? I don’t know. Maybe some of you would point it out and suggest on how to improve it.

I’m also interested in web design and building a website. Hopefully I could learn some stuffs and able to revamp my whole blog layout. How cool would that be? Looks like I got lots of studying to do guys!!!! Wish me luck!
