first day of raya 2009!

When it’s Hari Raya what colours do you always see? GREEN!!!! And guess what? My whole family and I wore green for this Raya! My mom was the one who chose the colour theme for this year’s raya. So she bought three pairs of apple green baju melayu for me, my father and my brother each and another two pairs of baju kurung for my sister and herself. I wasn’t around during the process because I was stuck in Damansara studying for my exams and no time to come back. Luckily, my father and I wear almost the same size ,so she bought a pair for me which of the same size with my father’s. Well, let the pictures show you how ‘GREEN’ we were.

This year my family decided just to do a small celebration only compared to last two years where I’ve invited my friends over. If some of you were wondering why I didn’t call, I’m terribly sorry. Maybe next time we could hang out again and get together. Well, as usual, my aunt and uncles, not forgetting my grandmother will come over to celebrate with my family. The aroma of savory dishes that my mom prepared lingered the whole house. Argh!! Even by just thinking back makes me drool.

Ah suddenly I have the urge to blog again after some time. How long have I not been updating? Hmmm, I think around one or two months plus already minus the last post on my birthday. Well forgive me for not updating, although there’s lot that happened but I just feel lazy to blog. Compared to last year, my tendency or shall I say then enthusiasm to blog have already decreased. I still remember I was so all excited about blogging and even started to ask all my friends to start blogging too. But look at me today, what a disgrace! Anyway let’s skip that part shall we?

I’m currently back in Ipoh after my hard, undoable mock exams for a week. At first, I have two weeks of holidays but due to my Oral exam which was rescheduled and brought forward to the week after the next I need to go back earlier to Bandar Utama. So sad right? I know.

My blog seriously need a new makeover don’t you think?? I need a new template which is nicer and definitely eye catching. If only I know how to create my own template then I would certainly know what I want.

Oh ya , I’ve watched Gamer already. I would rate it 6 out of 10. It was just okay to me because the movie didn’t turn out to be as what I had expected. I wouldn’t go to the extent of saying that the movie is awesome because it’s not. However, I still think it’s worth watching if you HAVE NOTHING ELSE BETTER TO DO!

Hmmm seriously, I don’t know what to blog about already. I guess I’ll stop here then. Just a short post :P

6th AUGUST 2009

do you know what happened on 6th of August of 1945? well it is the day that Hiroshima and Nagasaki was bombed. but do you know what day is it on the 6th of August every year? IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!

okay so let me describe my birthday celebration. my friends in the hostel celebrated by treating me dinner at MCD. i had candles lit up on my hamburger and they sang song for me. oh how sewwt but wait that was not the end of the celebration. it was just the beginning. in fact they have a hidden agenda by bringing me to MCD.

so after my dinner, i went back to my room and online. after that , few hours before midnight shun jing invited me to play dota. so i gladly accepted his offer. after midnight, song and nicholas came back from student house after working on their assignment with my birthday cake, they said they wanted to celebrate in the park and i obeyed. i knew i was going to be thrown at, probably flour i gueesed.

so we went down to the park and the two biggest boys , namely song and nicholas pinned me down. chang win then poured a cold, freezing liquid on me. BRRRR it was freaking cold, guess what is that liquid??? it's coca cola from MCD!!!! they kept refilling and kept in two big bottles!!!! talk about wastage. anyway, after that the second dose i've got was flour, curry powder and also KUNYIT!!!! OMG!!!! argh!!!
it was a unique and different kind of birthday celebration or more specifically i would say my birthday gift; to be showered with cold coca cola. haha. anyway i thanked them for such a surprise ( the coca cola, surry powder and kunyit part only) .



after all the dirty part, i went back and shower before we sat down and eat the cake. we chatted until quite late before we said goodnight.

when i went back to my hometown on my birthday, my family did a surprise party for me. i was overwhelmed and happy. really really happy. appreciate their efforts. the party was done at my grandmother's house.




well that's basically how was my birthday celebration this year!!! let's see what happened next year! till here then

Langakawi trip

Wow. I can’t believe it. I have promised that I will update on my langkawi trip but I took more than a month to update. OMG! Well, sorry guys. But let me repent by updating NOW :P

Okay so after the penang trip, my family and I embarked on a 6 hour journey to perlis. We started our journey driving on the road at 2 a.m. we reached the jetty around 7. Okay let’s skip that boring part and move on to the exciting things we did in langkawi.

The first place we visited once we stepped our foot on Langkawi was the Underwater World. We looked at thousand kinds of fishes and they were beautiful. On the first day, we did nothing much, but I would like to emphasize on where we went on the second day of our trip. We sat the langkawi most famous cable car. Honestly, I truly enjoyed the cable car ride and the scenic view on top of the mountain. The view was simply breath taking. Once I was up there, I realized that there is a different side of langkawi that I haven’t seen before. There are still seas in langkawi that are blue in colour which completely override my mindset that all seawater in langkawi is as brown as Nescafe. However I took a lot of pictures and I love them. Oh ya, did I tell you that the breeze up there was cooling and refreshing. Ah… how frequent can we feel that kind of wind in our busy and hectic city? Anyway let the picture do the talking.

On the third day, which was our last day, we practically just toured around the island with our rented car. Langkawi is a small island and we round the whole island in less than hour. During the three days there, we, well it was me especially, bought a bulk of chocolates back home. It was freaking cheap there and I could get imported chocolates as well. we also ate a lot of sea foods there. yummy!!!

Overall, I did enjoy my time there with my family. Perhaps next time we would go to Redang Island? I’m literally forcing myself to update after so long to break the chain of laziness to update my blog. Let’s hope I’ll be back soon with more updates ya? :P till here then tata
